Starting with just a few employees, some borrowed transcribing equipment and little cash, Jeanne's company pioneered the field of medical transcription outsourcing, working primarily with hospitals.  From this humble start, she built her business to over 100 employees serving hospitals nationwide with offices in several states, and even internationally with an office in Germany.

Jeanne's effectiveness as a counselor has its roots in her having first-hand knowledge and experience in starting and growing a small business, allowing her to relate to the small business owner and understand the problems they face, from the ground up.

Even though she still works in her own business consulting practice, she still finds two days a week to help others as a SCORE counselor.  The way she puts it, "This is called pay-back" for the help and guidance she received in her start-up and early days.
