You've Built It. Now Legally Protect It
 

Knowing the legal framework that affects your business is paramount to eliminating costs and having better relationships with your customers, suppliers, and employees. 

Objective
The objective of this five-hour session is to provide you with insightful information regarding the legal environment and how it affects your business. 

During the morning workshop you'll learn about proactive and reactive measures to protect your business, including incorporation issues, contracts and other writings, better communications with vendors and customers, insurance, and the litigation landscape.

In the afternoon session, you'll learn about the major federal laws that protect employees. You'll discover what you should and should not do as an employer, and teach you how to make legally-sound personnel decisions.

Who Should Attend?
This workshop is designed for both start-up and ongoing businesses with employees, as well as for businesses thinking of adding employees for the first time.

What Will be Covered?

  • Understand concepts such as corporate formation, insurance, contracts, professional relationships, and litigation.
